SNOW & ICE REMOVAL
Ordinance No. 2011-05 requires that snow and ice must be removed from sidewalks in winter months within 24 hours. All snow, ice and/or sleet that is removed shall not be deposited onto the street, so as to interfere with the safe passage of emergency vehicles.
Ordinance No. 2011-05 requires all residences and buildings to have approved address numbers, legible and visible from the front of the property. Address numbers shall be Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc…) or alphabet letters (A, B, C, etc…) with a minimum of 4 inches high and a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inches.
NOTICE OF TENANTS
Ordinance No. 2006-09 requires all persons, firms or corporations who own real estate property in South Greensburg to notify the Tax Collector within 15 days of the date any residential tenant vacates or occupies a property. At the Regular Meeting of Council for the Borough of South Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, to be held on the 9th day of December, 2013, at 6:30 P.M., in the Municipal Building, 1515 Poplar Street, South Greensburg, Pennsylvania, said Council intends to adopt Ordinance No. 2014-01, fixing the real estate tax rate for fiscal year 2014 at 20.77 Mills.
