All borough buildings are closed to the public. This includes the Borough Office, Fire Department, Public Works Building, Tax Office, and all Recreational Facilities including playgrounds, ballfields, parks and recreational activities. Municipal operations will still continue until further notice and will be reevaluated by the Mayor, Council, and Emergency Services on March 31st, 2020. South Greensburg Borough recommends following the CDC guidelines and protecting yourself and others by following proper hand hygiene, social distancing, and severely limiting or eliminating the day to day operations for schools, businesses, or gatherings in an attempt to reduce introduction of the virus COVID-19 into the community.
Borough Office- Residents can still contact staff via phone (724) 837-8858 and email- email@example.com for regular borough business. Garbage payments, permits or any other paperwork can be left in the mailbox in the rear of the building at 1515 Poplar St. Garbage payments can also be made online at www.southgreensburg.org or phoned in and completed over the phone. All permits and ordinances are still available on our website.
Tax Collection- Pay by mail and send to Tax Collector or drop off in mail slot at
1644 Broad St. South Greensburg.
For emergencies contact 911. Please note that special precautions will be taken to protect our fireman and police during medical calls to all residents that are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Symptoms include: fever, cough, difficulty breathing and shortness of breath.
