The Borough is seeking motivated and dependable individuals for seasonal Summer Help
positions. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals looking to gain handson
experience in municipal operations and general maintenance work.
Position: Summer Help – Public Works / Streets / Buildings & Grounds
Key Responsibilities:
 Assist the Street Department with general maintenance tasks
 Support Buildings & Grounds staff with upkeep of borough properties
 Perform lawn care, trimming, weeding, and landscaping work
 Help with street cleanup, painting, and basic repairs
 Operate basic hand tools and equipment
 Complete other duties assigned to support borough operations
Qualifications:
 Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
 Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
 Positive attitude and willingness to learn
 Must be minimum 17 years of age
 Valid driver’s license preferred
Work Schedule:
 Typically, Monday–Friday 7:00 am-12:00 noon (hours can be adjusted based on borough
needs)
 Seasonal employment: late spring through summer
